Based on the reports from two referees and my own reading of the revision, the manuscript is assessed as high quality and ready to be published after the authors address several minor issues raised by Referee #2. I particularly second the suggestion of including a sentence or two in the abstract that summarizes the main findings of the work. In addition, the first sentence in the second paragraph on p.6 is indeed confusing in the current form.
